YFC walk away with a narrow loss losing 0-1 at home to IFC Polonia

The YFC squad started the new year with a solid home performance which was only compromised by a defensive error allowing IFC Polonia a very easy opportunity.  Other than that throughout the first half YFC dominated the game with some good passing, great communication, good movement and solid defending.  However the boys were unable to put one of their opportunities in the back of the net.  The 2nd half was again clearly dominated by the home side with good passing and attacking football however a well organized IFC Polonia ensured YFC were unable to score.  This was a good performance by YFC who hit the bar twice and two chances cleared off the line.  For much of the 2nd half YFC had IFC Polonia on the back foot who were feeling fortunate to walk away with 3 points from this.  The game was clearly decided by the one defensive error during the first half.
